Atlantic County Health Department Wednesday, March 31 reported nine new COVID-19 deaths.
Those who succumbed to the virus include three Atlantic City residents – 60-year-old man, a 62-year-old woman and a 74-year-old woman; a 72-year-old Brigantine man; two Hamilton Township residents – a 71-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man; two Pleasantville residents – a 43-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man; and a 74-year-old man from Somers Point.
The county also reported 97 new COVID-19 positives in 48 males, ages 7-84, and 49 females, ages 11 months to 84.
These new cases bring the cumulative total of positives to 24,487, with 607 deaths. Those cleared from isolation total 12,583.
Weekly COVID-19 drive-through testing is offered at the county’s Public Works garage, 617 Dolphin Ave., Northfield. Appointments are available e9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday until further notice. Appointments can be made by calling 1-888-285-2684 or by accessing the online testing appointment link at www.aclink.org.
